"We are very encouraged by the worldwide consumer demand for Oblivion," stated Paul Eibeler, Take-Two's President and Chief Executive Officer. NPD reports that Oblivion represented approximately 13% of all PC game sales in the first week of its release, more than four times the sales volume of the next best selling title. In addition, market research firm NPD Group reported Oblivion for the PC was the best selling PC game for March, while the Oblivion Collectors Edition is ranked number 2. Since then, Oblivion has gone on to become the fastest selling game released on the Xbox 360. Take-Two Software and Bethesda Softworks' recently released The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was one of the most anticipated titles of 2006 prior to its Marelease. Today's round-up includes news of Oblivion sales breaking records, new downloadable content for Project Gotham Racing 3, and a PSP version of Gun, as well as the latest posts from GameSetWatch, product news and Gamasutra job postings.
